Holidays to Tunisia

The best bargain on the Mediterranean

Only 80 miles south of Sicily, this small North African country scores higher than most when you stack up the requirements of a perfect holiday. Just look at what it offers. Year-round sunshine. Summer and winter holidays. Beautiful safe beaches. Stylish hotels and state-of-the-art spas. Inviting new tourist developments. Unique archaeological treasures. Natural wonders – not just the Sahara Desert but the stunning landscapes around the oasis towns. Great food. Marvellous markets. And no jet lag – Tunis is just a two-and-three-quarter hour flight from the UK. Where else would you find the familiar and the exotic within such easy reach and at such excellent value for money?

One of the most advanced desert states, Tunisia has a further secret asset: its people. They are cheerful. They are charming. They are efficient. An amazing mix from all around the Mediterranean, they have honed their tradition of hospitality to a fine art as tourism has taken off here. Almost everyone speaks English in the hotels and restaurants in the resorts – whether by the sea, in the oases or on the edge of the desert. Otherwise, a bit of French will take you anywhere. Besides Arabic, French is the most widely used language. Tunisia can be all things to all people. You want a relaxed holiday with the children, fun things to do and pretty surroundings? Try Hammamet, Port El Kantaoui or Jerba. You feel like a city break, love to shop in the souks and discover Roman sites? Try Tunis and around. You want controlled adventure – to experience the wonders of the world’s largest desert but without roughing it? Book a Sahara tour, travelling in air-conditioned four-wheel-drive vehicles and staying in civilised comfort. You fancy totally chilling out in drop-dead luxury? Our top-of-the-range hotels with spas may be the answer – choose from six – or perhaps an authentic Arab mansion turned into a hôtel de charme? You can even combine one kind of holiday with another – we do ready-made and tailor-made. The range of options is virtually unlimited. Look through our website and dream a little. Then call us and we can make the dream come true.
